Vizor Games is looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our Marketing Analytics team!

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of PoC tasks and migration to Databricks.

  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the current analytics solution based on Postgres Citus.

  • Assist in migrating workflows to Airflow.

  • Optimize the performance of ETL processes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

  • Hands-on experience with the Databricks analytics platform.

  • Experience developing ETL processes using Spark.

  • Strong understanding of relational database theory and principles, as well as data storage and processing of large data volumes.

  • Proficient SQL skills, including experience in query optimization.

  • Experience in Python development and understanding of SOLID principles.

  • Experience working with Apache Airflow and understanding its architecture and service interactions.

  • Understanding of data warehouse (DWH) infrastructure and concepts.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the Citus extension for Postgres.

  • Basic understanding of OOP principles.

  • Experience with GitLab version control system.

  • Understanding of business processes in the gaming industry.
